We’re not your average tech company -- we started in your shoes, from within the nonprofit sector. Our Founder, Brooke Battle, was what we like to call a “serial board member.” Having chaired many fundraising events, she began to realize that nonprofits’ approach to fundraising events needed to shift. The first event utilizing the Swell platform (then called Smart Party) occurred in 2012 demonstrating the power of an event to drive donor acquisition and cause awareness. Since inception, Swell has grown into a full event management platform raising an additional $2 million for its clients and attracting thousands of new donors to causes.
We believe event fundraisers hold more value than traditionally ‘unlocked’ by nonprofits and we LOVE helping nonprofits reach for more.
