We love our community of event planners, production companies and nonprofit clients.
As a member of Swell’s referral program (a “Referrer”, “Referral Friend”, “Channel Partner”), you are subject to Swell Fundraising’s Terms of Use and Privacy Policy as well as the following Referral Terms and Conditions:
- Channel Partners: Channel partners include event planners and production firms which cross-sell the Swell Fundraising platform to their customers.
- Referral Friends: Referral friends include all members of the Swell community who refer a nonprofit to Swell through the referral program landing pages.
- Joining the program:
- All Swell clients are automatically eligible for and included in the Swell Friends program.
- Prospective channel partners sign up through the Partner landing page and in doing so agree to provide necessary tax information (w-9 forms) to receive distributions.
- Qualified Referral: A Qualified Referral is defined as a new client that licenses a package from Swell Fundraising. The qualified referral can be (a) introduced to Swell via email or (b) referred to Swell via the Swell referral program landing pages. In some instances, this may include signing up for Swell directly through a Channel Partner.
- Referral Friend Rewards: For one to earn referral rewards as a Referral Friend, the Referred Customer must sign up for a license with Swell and pay the annual fee. Referral awards change from time to time and are updated on the Swell Fundraising website. Examples of referral awards include gift cards, account credits, Swell gifts and more.
- Channel Partner Payments: Channel partners receive quarterly distributions based on a commission rate of 10% of the collected license payments of new Swell subscribers for the previous quarter.
- As a Referral Friend or Channel Partner, you are responsible for any and all tax liability resulting from Referral Rewards.
- Right to Cancel Program or Change Terms: Swell Fundraising reserves the right to cancel or change its Referral Program at any time, in its sole discretion with 90 days notice to active Referral Friends and Channel Partners.
